Is it worth it to move to San Francisco with all the earthquakes? Is it really dangerous?
I live in FL now and I want to move to San Francisco to have more resources to study buddhism and live up the San Fran culture? Are the earthquakes bad enough to make me change my mind? Is it really dangerous to live in San Fran?

i would take another loma prieta 7.0 earthquake any day of the year over your hurricanes. california is rather prepared for earthquakes especially construction wise.
earthquakes are so completely unpredicatable. you could have another big one tomorow or 100 years from now. you just can’t predict them and to live in fear of one is a waste of energy.
no they aren’t that big to make you change your mind.
honestly, i think the earthquakes here aren’t as bad as say the ones that have the potential to hit in the middle of the country where buildings are not designed to withstand them.
