earthquake adoption
Should orphans from Haiti be left in the care of uncles and aunts, or taken to Western nations to be adopted?

“Children’s charities have voiced fears for the safety of thousands of orphans after Western nations began speeding up adoption procedures in the wake of the Haiti earthquake. Countries including France and Spain have streamlined the process in the hope of getting young people to safety as soon as possible.”

It is an interesting problem considering the poverty in Haiti.
Just to remind you, Haiti, before the earthquake was one of the poorest nations on the planet. Many are not able to support their own families as it is!

I think the charity organizations should help the relatives raise these children in Haiti. They need family and country and if we can help them that way it is better for them.
