the us has stepped up and pledged $100m. How much have muslim countries promised for earthquake relief?
not trying to start anything. according to yesterday’s news, we pledged 10X what the next closest nation did. as usual. first boots on the ground. civilian volunteers flying in by the plane load. proud to be american.
so, someone had to bring up iraq. we are rebuilding that country, without the rape and torture centers, while fanatics are killing their own people and trying to destroy the urban reconstruction we are doing. no one has answered my question.
I think the world knows that when disaster strikes anywhere, America will be the first to take charge and send in immediate help. No matter how many nations come against us, as soon as something happens to them…America is there to help them out. We have the best of the best equipment, doctors, volunteers, military etc etc. In a way if it weren’t for us taking charge these people would not be getting the help they deserve. The world knows it, we all know it happens every time there is some form of tragedy through out the world.
Other countries give what they can. Some send in supplies, others money, still others send in military and medical help. Either way Haiti is going to get the help they need.
