Question on the earthquake(5.4) that just hit japan and the effect it can do to the sea.?
Japan has just been recently hit by an earthquake measuring a 5.4 at the scale. question, im going to enjoy a cruise ship next week april 29 to may 6 around the area of Singapore-Malaysia-Vietnam. Is there a tsunami danger? will the seas be rougher? Is there any hazard? Im leaving this saturday, April 28 2007, i hope someone can answer. Thanks in advance!
Any tsunami generated by an earthquake that close would hit land within a few hours, it doesn’t take a week for a tsunami to travel that short distance.
