
Earthquake jolts S Philippines
A magnitude-5.0 quake struck southern Philippines on Monday, the United States Geological Survey reported. The quake, 148.3 km below seabed, was recorded at 4:21 a.m. with the epicenter at 120 km southeast of General Santos City of Mindanao region.
