Dangers of living in Hawaii?
So in Hawaii, on any island, what are some natural disasters that could threaten the safety of the people there? I live in Los Angeles and we are in a high-earthquake zone. The people in the South, such as Florida and Louisiana are prone to hurricanes. The north’s deadliest natural disaster is probably a snowstorm. What natural disasters are Hawaii prone to?
Hurricane Flossie arrived while I was vacationing in Hawaii last summer so that would be one. But the natural disasters that occurs in Hawaii are numerous. Here is a list of Hawaii’s past diasters by year…. hope this helps
