Did you know: about the Blind Mole Rat…?
Blind mole rats have no visible eyes, ears or tail! They communicate by producing shock and vibrations similar to mini-earthquakes! They live alone in burrows under the Savannah of East Africa and do not tolerate others of their kind. Meeting another could mean a fight to the death.
So, to keep in touch with its rivals, it “vibrates and bangs it head” on the roof of its burrow! It will strike the ground 4 times within half a second, and then rest its jaw on the side of the tunnel to pick up the replies from its neighbouring rivals.
There y’ go! At least you will be able to sleep well tonight knowing this information…
How does it get a partner with that attitude? My other half would be out on his ear if he done that in my house!
