Please help on Science?

Ok… so i just need help on science because im not doing very good and i wanna learn some facts that will help me! i like learning in simple terms if possible! im in grade 7 and we are learning:
- How earth quakes happen
-How volcanoes happen
- How to read a map and direct in what region the earthquakes and volcanoes happen
- The tectonic plates
- Faucets
- and any interesting facts that a grade 7 teacher would ask in this subject!

earth quakes happen when tectonic plates rub agaist, or bump into each other
volcanoes happen when pressure under the crust builds and magma squirts out wholes in the crust
if you find out where the tectinic plates edges are, that is normally where the most earth quakes and volcanos are… also most islands are made from under sea volcanoes that produce enough magma and lava to break the surface of the ocean… hawii is an example of this
the tectonic plates are where cracks in the earth’s surface create plates that float on the magma
and with faucets…. i think you are thinking of fissures. they ar smaller holes in a volcano, like the main mouth, but small and they generally go diagonally from the magma chamber, where all the magma is held
um, you shouldhave done this kind of things in sixth grade and seventh grade should be life science …. also
