Question about yesterdays rocket/earthquake thingy for tho who live in CALIFORNIA?
ok it was about 5 or 6 and i was playing piano with my piano teacher, and suddenly we heard a boooom, and an earthquake feeling but it was harder and the ground didn’t shake…. and i heard it was a rocket or something like that but i want to know what really happened and the details on that. And i tried searching it up and got nothing…. think you can help me out?!? thanks!!
Depending on how old you are now and where in California you live, When the space shuttle orbiter returns you may have heard the sonic boom from its entry when landing at Edwards AFB. I say that because, I understand the orbiter uses a slightly different approach to avoid sonic booms over populated areas. I see that the day before you asked this question the orbiter did in fact return to Edwards from visiting the International Space Station.
