florida earthquake 2006
So…Earthquake in the gulf of Mexico?

hmm

it was a 6.0 and was felt in the panhandle of florida, and places in gorigia..here, in tampa bay FL i didnt realy feel anything at all…

i went on the internet top do some thinking and research….

there was an earthquake in the gulf of mexico in ferbruary, 2006. i didnt know that lol but anyway, there was. a scientist says that itsnot like an earthquake cant happen, Facts still exist, even if they are ignored.

Another scientist says an earthquake in any costal region might cause a tsunami or it might not. it depends on the motion of the earthquake.

soooooo…thats pretty much all i’read and understood.

i hope no one goes mad over things like this…i meen, anything can happen at anytime….this earthquake in the gulf, for example?!. its not a fact that earthquakes cant happen in some places….

Yeah I remember reading about that one, The Ft Myers newspapers carried a story on it but that was about it.

There have been 2 5+ earthquakes in the Gulf off the coast of Louisianna in the past 6 years……

Some scientists say it becuase more and more dirt and mud piles up at the mouth of the mississippi river and the weight adds up after a while…..
Heres a good link on this one.

But if you pay attention to the earth you will notice that a string of earthquakes each year start in canada just north of NY and make a curved path down to th middle of the Gulf…….
