Is the Catholic church responsible for the poverty and the poor life that Haitians had before the earthquake?
they have a very high rate of aids in haiti and it is because they are not allowed to use condoms. When people are sick and dying all around it is very hard to maintain a working economy. They are not allowed to have premarital sex either but people are going to and when they do they don’t need much of an excuse to not use condoms and the Catholic church gives them that excuse. It is the same in Brazil and pretty much anywhere the Catholic church sinks their tentacles into.
Haiti is 80% Catholic. And if you have paid attention to the news reports you see that even though they have lost everything they still have their faith. The Church gives them hope, it does not take it away.
And your ignorance about condom use and biblical scripture on sex is astounding.
First off a “Harvard” University study has shown that condom use in AIDS plagued countries actually increases the spread of AIDS.
Second, the “Bible” is clear about premarital sex. Now, if you think about it if people followed the bible and had no sex until married their would be no STD’s or over population.
