does this count as adversity?
i’m looking at essays i’ll have to write for colleges in a couple of years and one asked “describe an adversity you went through, how you overcame it and what you learned from your experience”
back in 2005 a hurricane really messed up our county. we suffered for a while but not nearly as bad as Katrina victims or Haiti earthquake victims. but i was still pretty scared( i was 11). would this count as an adversity? would colleges even be interested in this story?
The experience counts as adversity but you still have to explain how it directly affected/impacted you and also explain how it changed your life.
