End Of The World Images on TV…?
You ever notice how news channels cover more disasters around the world then ever before? Such as the Cyclone & the Earthquake that happened…
Since they do it so much…wouldn’t that be a sign of things to come..especially if you’re in a cult or something.
But this question is basically about religious cults & the news.
Because when they see the news..some cult leader might just say..”See!! It’s the beginning of the end. We must prepare!”..then 2 weeks later the news is reporting an mass suicide by a cult that believed the end was coming.
Do you think the news has some responsibility in “mass suicides” ? OR is it just some crazy cult leader thinking the end is coming?
I think that the media tries to portray this “scary and dangerous” world. I think they are responsible for the overall happiness level for a lot of people, but responsible for mass suicides is a stretch.
