The Big Earthquake in California?
Geologists say that there’s gonna be a Mega earthquake in Southern California very soon since there hasn’t been one since the 1700’s now.. they say that tension in the earth’s crust is rising and that the consequences qould be a total devastation of LA and San Francisco. Do you think its true?
There will never be an another earthquake to devastate either LA or San Francisco. The plates locally just can’t build up to an earthquake that large before slipping. Nothing to worry about. And there isn’t a big earthquake expected any time soon. The forecast says there ~10% chance of having a 7+ earthquake in the next 30 years. And a 7-8 earthquake would be serious but not devastating, as we’ve seen enough earthquakes now to know how to avoid problems.
